(continuing from June’s OD&D and AD&D game recaps – 500 characters or less each!)

Eastern Borders AD&D game:

7/23 session: After resupplying at Dragonsbray, the PCs followed up on rumors of strange livestock deaths, ending up at an abandoned farmstead.

Several men were there and refused to answer questions. The cleric Wikton, suspicious, commanded one to “transform” and they did, into a werewolf!

A fierce battle ensued w/many spells cast, ending in victory for the PCs. Two got away.

They continued towards their destination. There was sadness at parting ways w/the bard Ron.

Western Borders AD&D game:

7/5 session: The party continued their trek to reach safety with their precious cargo of ancient dwarf tablets. 
They set up camp unknowingly by  a group of quiescent Afflicted (rage-not-undead-zombies). Curiosity led to battle and their best fighter being severely mauled. Fortunately none of the bites led to infection.
Two days later, the traveling PCs encountered soldiers of a Lord they wished to avoid. They escaped the situation with a charm spell and crazy story! 
 7/19 session: The party makes their way to Lord Elfredo, returning just in time for spring to start and the new year to begin! The Feast of the New Year is held across the lands and the Lord is throwing his usual large party for all the nearby homesteaders, villagers and miners. 
The party ensures that Wilizim is safe at Lord’s tower and then prepare to enjoy the coming festivities.

Dungeon23 OD&D game:

7/11 session:  3 new players join the party!
Elmon the Elf cuts more of the fleshy mass, this time a support tube. He’s now drenched in oily, non-drying, black blood. 
They toss the flesh through the passageway distortion. It “blinks” but lands beyond the distortion.  Elmon then jumps into it, but everyone is teleported to another part of the dungeon!
Exploring more, they find a strange room w/glowing cylinder of light filled w/coins. 2 huge armored guardians! How to get past them?
 
7/25 session: The party explored more of the passages and rooms, finding a huge strange skeleton.

A surprise attack by pale large centipedes! One PC was bit; now bears a strange wound – a circle of white, dead skin around the bite.

The PCs stumbled onto a rat-fighting ring run by 2 drunk kobolds. Some discussion, then Scale, the mage, stabs one of them to force the other to be a guide! Battle ensues!

The PCs kill rats & a kobold, taking the other prisoner. A secret door is revealed! 

Classic Traveller/Battlestar Galactica game:

7/10 session: The “Troubleshooters” visited a hospital ship to find parts from its drives to be used to fix Battlestar Lance. Bad news – the ship is so old, the part was likely to break mid-jump! Everyone has to be evacuated.
A doctor had sedated and imprisoned a human/Cylon! After some investigation, the players found he was illegally augmented, not an agent.
The players found a solution to religious sect refusing to leave the hospital ship.
7/24 session: The troubleshooters jump back into Cylon-held space to salvage the wrecks of Battlestars for needed parts!

They find an intact drive section drifting and enter, making their way to the rear, avoiding contaminated areas & picking up oxygen bottles.

While recovering the part, the team discovers Cylon Centurions aboard! A vicious firefight ensues. The team is victorious but wounded! They escape with the last part! The Battlestar Lance can now jump!

 
PS: Sorry for the tardiness of the recaps! Life has become extremely hectic for me, and will continue to be that way for the next two months! Big news on the horizon for Mr./Mrs. Chgowiz!
