I’ve been thinking… well, actually, I’ve been doing a lot of things but I’ve also been thinking.
You might notice that the title of the blog has changed a bit. That’s the result of this thinking.
Since I moved in 2023, I’ve not had as much time for TTRPGs and gaming. For one, with a third less space, it seems that my miniatures painting, wargaming and such have been the most affected. Assembling and painting promoted play, which promoted assembly and playing, etc.
As other hobbies and activities come up, the gaming has moved into the “do it when needed” versus “do it all the time.” I still create and game, but much, much less. So my gaming blogging has slowed down quite a bit, to the point where I began questioning whether to close the blog like I shut down my D&D podcast.
But… I am into a lot of different things. Gardening. Hunting. Canning/Cooking. Resiliency and emergency preparedness. Things that I might want to share about!
So, the change in the blog. It will be a variety of things, not just game. The things that I’m passionate about. That I’ve got lessons learned, or I just want to cry and whine about.
HOWEVER… you may not be interested in those things, and thus I’ll use categories to let you decide what you want to read. They’re provided on the side over there >>> under the recent posts.

Considering you have been at it for a long time, changing the focus of the blog might be a way to keep it fresh for you, regardless of time spent gaming?
